Summer diversity
A moving piece of South Tyrol.
In the Dolomites, my summer holiday is varied: Monte Pana is not just for hiking and cycling! As peaceful as the high plateau may appear, the place has a lot to offer when it comes to sport. At lofty heights, on horseback or hanging from a rope - tranquil nature experiences await everywhere. All activities can start car-free and are just a short walk or cable car ride away.
I find countless via ferratas and climbing routes on the Odle mountains, the Sella Group or in the Gruppo del Sassolungo. Hardly any other area offers more varied climbing opportunities than the rocky giants of the Dolomites. Legendary via ferrata classics such as Stevia, Pisciadu or the Sasso Piatto have a unique attraction.
I watched them from the Skypool, the colourful paragliders in the sky. Soaring over the Dolomites like an eagle – I will also make this dream come true during my time at the Cendevaves. Taking off from Mont Sëura, I silently fly as free as a bird over alpine meadows and forests and land very close to my holiday home.
A few metres from the top station of the Mont Sëura chairlift, the zipline starts slowly and then accelerates as it descends 409 metres in altitude. At speeds of up to 100 km/h, I fly over the meadows and forests of Monte Pana. After more than 1,500 metres, the spectacular flying experience ends just a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
