The art and nature trail on Monte Pana.
The "Troi Unika" art and nature trail, which runs right past the hotel, combines tradition and nature to create an exciting walk. Here I can discover the nature on Monte Pana with all my senses and at the same time, immerse myself in the deep-rooted traditions of Val Gardena. A total of nine stations, including the rest area in the forest, the 200-year-old spruce or the "Blickpunkte" viewpoint with views of Stevia, the Gruppo delle Odle and Seceda, invite you to discover the small wonders of nature and marvel at original Val Gardena handicrafts.
Nature, art and tradition in symbiosis
Birgit and Christian Stuffer, my hosts at Hotel Cendevaves, have created this project together with the "Unika" artists' association from Val Gardena. Along the path, which is accessible in summer and winter, I can admire the masterpieces of various local artists. Wood sculptors and other craft artists have expressed their connection to nature and home in the form of sculptures, thereby creating places that invite you to linger, ponder and understand. Accompanied by quotes from famous people and always with a unique view of Stevia, Gruppo del Sassolungo, Seceda and Sella, my walk on the Troi Unika becomes an inspiring art-nature experience.
